Been busy.

As you can imagine: launching our membership system in the middle of a global pandemic and ensuring our fires are kept burning through a Senedd and then a local election - as well as many a Labour Conference - has been a hard but worthwhile task.

In both of those elections, our members stood as Welsh Labour candidates who were open with their Constituency Labour Party about their position on the Constitutional future they believe in.

We thought we’d take the time to quickly update you. Since our membership launch, we have:

• doubled our membership (since 2021);

• had 3 Senedd candidates;

• had 10+ County & Town Council candidates;

• helped 10+ County & Town Cllrs to get elected;

• changed our constitution from a President & Vice system to a Co-Chair system;

• been on LBC, S4C, BBC, and ITV a great many times;

• held all members’ meetings with Members of the Senedd;

• spoken at indy marches in Wrexham and Swansea;

• launched our TikTok and Shop (selling excellent prints, with more items soon to come);

• helped our members get Motions through Welsh Conference 2023 that are helping achieve our ultimate goal;

• and - in the most recent Redfield & Winton poll, at the time of writing - normalised support for independence within Welsh Labour voters to 55%.

We look forward to many more years of progress ahead.
